Artist's Description
This is a tribute to a memory ... of a photo of an elderly woman, whose family became a second family to my wife. The photo is of this woman, on a beach in her last days, left at her request to be alone with her thoughts for a while. This painting is a recreation of that photo of a person who has lived a very full life, alone in a wheelchair, watching the ocean on a cold winter day and letting the memories of the place, her life, wash over her. The ink and watercolor is called, Alone With An Ocean of Memories. My iPad art is painted and drawn using Procreate.
